The New Season Begins

Pre-Season

The Blues have been training hard since the end of July, concentrating on honing their skills for the new season.  Training Sessions have focused on passing, one and two touch football and the boys first touch.  We have also included some shotting, crossing and replicated some match sutuations.  They have all applied themselves really well and my thanks go to the parents ensuring they attend as many sessions as they can and for those that have assisted in training when Ray or I have not been around.

We have also had some encouraging results in the friendlies that we have played and are set for the new season.

I would like to formally welcome Sam Callcut, Charlie Stewart and Dan Malcolmson to the team for this season, they have all looked good in training and friendlies so far and will be valuable additions to the squad.

I will attempt to post match reports every week for us on the website and include some photos. 

I would also like to thank our new team sponsor, Matt Hawkes from Aurora Solar PV Ltd for purchasing the new kit.
