
Deeping U18s welcomed Godmanchester U18s to Outgang Road for their latest league fixture.
The first half was rather uneventful with both teams exchanging possession with few chances, just before the break Deeping hit the post with a great ball across the goalmouth. No more than a minute later Godmanchester hit the post with a good shot from just outside the area.

The 2nd half followed the same trend as the first half until the 60th minute when Deeping broke the deadlock a great run down the wing by the Deeping winger and a good shot from the angle tucking it in past the keeper.
On the 75th minute a great run from a Deeping forward through the Godmanchester defence until the Deeping forward was brought down just outside the area. A yellow card for the Godmanchester defender and the resulting free kick was whipped past the wall and into the bottom corner to double the Deeping lead.
Just before the full time whistle sounded Godmanchester grabbed a consolation goal a good shot from just inside the box deflecting off a defender and in.
There was no time for them to push for an equaliser and Deeping grabbed there first home win of the season.
